• language assessment, particularly criterion-referenced testing
• web-based test development
• technology and multimedia in language instruction
• learning management systems
• the development of e-learning and e-testing online systems (my own solution: WebClass)
• corpus linguistics, collocations
• vocabulary learning and teaching
