Prerequisites
The aim of the course is to introduce the students to the ideas of the medieval philosophers and the basic philosophical terms.The students will be enabled to analyse the philosophical texts and will learn how to write their essays.

Course content description
The subject of the course is a selection of the basic topics of the ancient christian philosophy and the medieval philosophy. One of the main topics will be the relations between the ancient and the medieval philosophy, as well as the realtions between theology and philosophy based on the ideas of the medieval authors.
Forms of assessment
The problem methods, work on texts, work with a group of students.
Credit: 5 tests, an essay
