Course objective
Knowledge about theory of absolute in historical and systematical perspective.
Prerequisites
Knowledge about history of philosophy, metaphysics and methodology of sciences.
Learning outcomes
Knowledge.
Student can present the main topics from philosophy of God, its various conceptions and solutions. He knows the literature of this subject.

Student can analyse and compare various point of views presented in this domain.
Student can critically evaluate the various arguments for the existence and non existence of God.
Student can understand the philosophical text from the discipline and he is able to

Student is opened to various conceptions and he can dispute and deep his knowledge.

Course content description
The Object of the philosophy of God lecture - in historical and systematical perspective - are very important conceptions of absolute (God) presented in the ancient (Plato, Aristotle, Plotinus), medieval (Thomas Aquinas), modern (Descartes, Kant) and contemporary (Hegel, Whitehead, Marion) thought. In the systematic aspect the arguments for existence of absolute (God), its nature and relation to the world and man is presented. Moreover it is still present the question of atheism and the relation contemporary science to the question of God.
Forms of assessment
Mark 2
Student has no knowledge from the domain; he can\'t analyse the main questions and he isn\'t engaged in the class.
Mark 3.
Student has a general knowledge about philosophy of God, but his knowledge is limited. He with difficulties analyses and understands the topics of lecture. He is passive in the class and he doesn\'t use the information from literature.
Mark 4.
Student has an ordered knowledge from the domain. He knows the main problems and he can discuss about them. He can present his knowledge and read the philosophical text with understanding. Student is active, opened to the new information and he wants to develop his competences.
Mark 5.
Student has a grounded knowledge from the discipline. He can use it during the class. He knows the literature and the methods of analysis and can it employ in practice. Student is active in class and he wants to deep his knowledge and to develop his competences.
