Course objective
Prerequisites
Elementary knowledge of Latin, general course of the history of Ancient and Mediaeval Philosophy.

The purpose of the seminar is to provide students with the basic skills of analyzing philosophical texts and writing an MA and PhD thesis.

Course content description
The participants are introduced into different kinds of periodization of the history of Ancient and Mediaeval Philosophy and different concepts of making history of Ancient and Mediaeval Philosophy. In the course of the seminar a classical philosophical text is read, and MA and PhD theses are discussed.
