Course objective
C1 - Methodology of dissertation;
C2 - Analysis of the basic terms, legal rules and the most essential challenges in the scope of the EU policies and activity;
Advanced knowledge about EU institutions and substantive law
Learning outcomes
K_W03 -has a knowledge and understands legal terms in the scope of the EU policies;
K_06 understands the basic features and activity areas of the EU; has a knowledge of research methodology
K_U02 has an ability of applying of the theoretical knowledge to the analysis and interpretation of legal phenomenas of the EU, including presentation of conclusions in graduating essay,
K_02 has an ability of working in the team, both as a lecturer and debater, has the basic organizational abilities that enable the implementation of purposes.
Teaching method
The class has a form of lecture including socratic method during an interactive part of the course.

The course includes the following:
1. The role of research enquiry;
2. Introduction to dissertation - purpose and thesis;
3. Structure of graduating essay;
4. References and bibliography;
5. Research conclusions;
6. Legal aspects of the EU policies;
7. How to analyse legal sources;
7. Selection of disseration\\\'s topic;
Forms of assessment
Students are required to present the research enquiry effects.
