Course objective
- to be able to translate latin philosophical texts
- to be able to recognize philosophical problems in latin texts
Prerequisites
knowledge of latin
Learning outcomes
- student knows philosophical vocabluary in latin (K_W04),
- knows methods of translation and interpretation of philosophical texts (K_W07),
- student is able to analyze latin text, recogize philosopical problems, understands philosophical vocabluary (K_U05),
- is able to translate latin text (K_U08, K_U09),
- is aware of importance of latin culture (K_K05).

Course content description
The purpose of translatorium is to allow the students to translate latin text for themselves, and to use latin texts in their own philosophical researches.
Forms of assessment
(2): student does not know basic Latin philosophical vocabulary, cannot translate and analyze Latin text, is not active on classes;
(3): student knows basic philosophical Latin vocabulary, can translate simple text,
(4) student knows philosophical Latin vocabulary, can translate and analyze Latin text,
(5) student knows philosophical Latin vocabulary, can translate and analyze Latin text, is active on classes
